Bird and Wildlife Feeders

We are asking residents to please remove bird and wildlife feeders from their patio areas.

With several transmutable diseases, like bird flu and Lyme disease, on the rise in the United States, we are looking to keep our local animals safe. Feeders bring birds and other wildlife into close contact, increasing the likelihood of disease transmission and physical harm from predators. Not only does the risk to the local wild animal population increase, but so does the risk of transmission to pets - and even human residents.

We've additionally had an increase in residents reporting damages and nuisance from wild animals on campus - the solution to that is seldom kind. We do not want to have to call exterminators, so please refrain from feeding wild animals.

So many people love watching the beautiful birds and fun wildlife we have here at Coronado Woods. Please help us keep ALL our neighborhood animals safe by removing any feeders.
