May-June Recap

It's time for the recaps in May and June! We're sure everyone got their community reminder fliers in May - but just in case, here is the recap;

Pets

A change has been made to the Rules and Regulations regarding pets. “Pets must be kept indoors unless attended to by a human. This includes inside patio areas; pets should not be left alone outdoors when residents are not home or are otherwise unable to ensure their pet is safely contained and not becoming a nuisance for other residents. This includes not letting pet cats roam the neighborhood. This is for both the safety of the pet and other community members.” 

Trash

We have noticed an increase of improperly disposed of trash, overfilling of containers, and lack of identifying numbers. Not only is this unsightly, but it can attract animals that may pose a health and safety risk. Household trash must be contained in a covered trash can. Trash cans need to be returned to the owner’s patio within 24 hours following collection. Trash cans must have the unit number visibly labeled for identification. 

Pool

This is a reminder that the Coronado Woods Swimming Pool is only available to residents who are fully paid-up on their dues, and have no outstanding fines.

The Coronado Woods swimming pool opened successfully! It currently has a major leak we are working to get repaired - however the first company no-called, no-showed several times when they were scheduled to be here - That's not a good look! We're exploring other options to have the work completed and we'll be sure to keep the community posted, but in the meantime, enjoy that nice cool water in this summer heat!

The roof over the 1310-1312 building was replaced by our favorite roofing company, Yoder!

A community walk-about was down with a potential vendor to look at some of our curbs and sidewalks and establish what needs to be done this year. That work is scheduled to start later in July - and we'll be sure to send out notices as that gets a little closer. This year we'll be focusing on Coronado Blvd. S. as well as some other spot treatments.
