Recently, a resident reached out to our property manager, Vida, saying that they received a suspicious phone call.
The caller stated that Coronado Woods was having the roofs looked at, and the caller proceeded to ask the resident about dates and times when they would, and would not be, home.
If you have received this phone call, or something like it, please do not engage with the caller. Take down the number that called you, hang up the phone, and call the Reynoldsburg Police Station non-emergency line (614-866-6622) to report the details of the encounter. By no means should you give out your schedule or any personal information to an unfamiliar caller.
The Board at Coronado Woods will always reach out to residents privately if work is scheduled to be done on their building. If you ever have any uncertainty about a phone call, get off the line and reach out to one of your Board Members or Vida for clarity before providing an unknown party any information.
We encourage our residents to practice vigilance and safety! And an extra big thank you to the resident who tipped us off about this scam.
