Trash

This is a general reminder for residents that trash MUST be contained in an appropriate receptacle. That means a trash can with a lid securely closed.

We have noticed an uptick of people putting out lose trash bags and uncontained garbage on trash days which has lead to more than one instance of the trash being dragged through the neighborhood by animals. Not only is this unsafe for the local wildlife, it can attract pests, and causes litter debris to be found around our community.

Please refer to the Rules and Regulations in regards to trash containment and pick-up. If you have more trash than can fit in appropriate containers, a bulk pickup can be scheduled for you as long as we know the Monday before pick-up. This has a small fee applied of $28 per yard of bulk trash.

If this trend continues, we will unfortunately have to take further actions; including issuing fines to entire buildings if we cannot determine specific units responsible. Please report any violations to the Coronado Board of Directors.
