Recently, an attempted break-in was reported here at Coronado Woods. Police were called and they are investigating.

At this time, no injuries or further incidents have been reported.

However, we want to remind everyone of some safety measure that you can take to help protect our homes and our community.

1. Ensure all doors and windows are securely closed and locked - especially during the evening and overnight hours.

2. Turn on exterior lights around your home, such as porch and patio lights.

3. If you have motion sensor lighting or security cameras, make sure they're working properly.

4. Do not leave valuables in visual locations.

5. If you are away from home, consider having a neighbor keep an eye on your home.

6. Immediately report and suspicious activity to local law enforcement and management.
